welcome to School of Management and Entrepreneurship

With globalisation, the survival of organisations largely depends on existence of manpower with high level of managerial skills, creativity and innovation. The diploma will equip students with modern management knowledge and skills for effective and flexible management of operations at lower levels.

Such manpower would be required to carry out innovations that offer competitive advantage to the organisation. Many projects have to be undertaken and continuous designing and redesigning has to be carried out to ensure that the projects are viable and can be sustained.

In E. Africa, the issue of integration raises accelerated need for trained personnel possessing the required knowledge and skills; to manage and provide timely accountabilities that give the organization in the region a competitive edge.  With modernisation, there exists a great challenge of producing graduates who possess Information and Communication Technology (ICT) competencies for tapping global opportunities and ability to communicate effectively. The programme is inclusive in nature and therefore envisaged to produce empowered manpower that is functionally effective in all business environment situations.
