Department of Business Administration and Entrepreneurship

Welcome Message from the Head of Department
Greetings and best wishes from the Department of Business Administration and Entrepreneurship.
The Department of Business Administration and Entrepreneurship is one of the four departments in the School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SOME) of Kyambogo University. As a Department, we are focused on producing and training personnel in areas of Administration, Management, marketing, and Mobilisation.
The department’s core mission is to produce an “all-round” person who is flexible in accomplishing various tasks either as an employee or self-employed, and the type of degree programs we offer are all tailored at having this kind of person
Today’s modern office requires highly skilled and competent personnel who are self-motivated and capable of taking on administrative roles besides managing the office. The work environment in most offices today requires the career Administrative secretaries to do administrative work while career administrators also find themselves in positions such as personal assistants, to the chief executive, positions that require knowledge and skills in both professions. In addition, Information Technology being an engine of both business and public office, there is a need to introduce, expand, and consolidate its appreciation at degree level in order to promote proficiency in today’s office.
It is, therefore, a great pleasure to welcome everyone to this department.
Sr. Namutebi Mary Gorreti
HOD
