The Department of Procurement, together with the School of Management embarked on the process of programme review of MSC (SCM) in 2014. Since that time, a lot of consultations have taken place.

The Master Business Administration was started at Kyambogo University in 2010.The first lot on this programme completed in 2012 and graduated in 2012. Normally the Programme Review should take place immediately after a full cycle and after receiving feedback from employers on the performance of the graduates in the field.
For the last 5 years, the School of Management and Entrepreneurship of Kyambogo University has been offering the Masters of Science in Organisation and Public Policy Management (MOPP). The School has found it necessary to review both the title of programme and content to match the contemporary demand. In particular, the School has changed the title of the programme from Masters of Science in Organisation and Public Policy Management (MOPP) to Masters of Science in Organisation and Public Sector Management (MOP).
